Description
Capsicum annuum variety selected by Mario Dadomo at the Stuard Experimental Farm in Parma. The plant looks like a branched tree, it is quite prolific and quite early. It reaches a height of approximately 60-70 cm and a width of 30-40 cm. The stem is thin and branched and over time tends to lignify, like the branches. The leaves are bright green, lanceolate, with a sharp, non-pubescent apex. They reach a length of 8 cm and a width of 1.5 cm, with a fairly elongated stem. A single flower per node with a vertical stem. The corolla has white petals with very slight stripes. The anthers are black, elongated stamens, white pistil with yellow tip, ovary well hidden between the stamens. The fruit, similar to the Cayenne, has a vertical or intermediate posture, wrapped at the base by the robust petiole. The shape is elongated with a pointed apex. It is about 8 cm long and about 1.5 cm wide, the exocarp is slightly wrinkled. The initial green color changes to bright yellow when fully ripe. Sunset with drying. The placenta is low, the seeds are numerous. The peppers are not very meaty, they dry well and are suitable for the production of powder. Slightly spicy
